1. All teams will play 4 games guaranteed.
2. For round robin, wins are worth 2 Points, Ties are worth 1 Point and a Loss is worth 0 Points. There is no overtime or shootout in the round robin.
3. Tie Breakers: In the event teams are tied following the round robin games, ranking will be decided as follows:
   1. Head-to-Head Result (if there are only 2 teams tied)
   2. Total Goals For Minus Total Goals Against (maximum useable difference in a win is 6 goals)
   3. Total Goals Against. (Team with Lower Goals Against ranks higher)
   4. Total Goals For. (Team with Highest Goals For ranks higher)
   5. Total Penalty Minutes. (Team with Lowest Penalty Minutes ranks higher)
4. Playoff Overtime Rule.
   If tied after regulation, a 3 Round Elimination Shootout will be used to determine the winner. The visiting team shoots first.
   (3 shooters per team, followed by 1:1 Sudden Death)
   *Players cannot shoot more than once.

Rules of Play

All games will follow Hockey Canada rules. (Visit Hockey Canada for a full list of rules)

Suspensions – Suspensions are at the discretion of the Tournament Officials & Coordinator.

Match Penalties or Gross Misconduct Penalties – Any player who received a Gross Misconduct or Match Penalty will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament.

Equipment

1. All equipment requirements as per Hockey Canada Rules.
2. Warm up Pucks to be provided by the tournament.

All Divisions Details

1. Non-Contact.
2. 90-minute ice times
3. 3-minute warmup
4. 90 min slot = 1st × 15 min period. 2nd/3rd × 20 min period. All Stop Time.
5. 2 Referee System
6. Mercy Rule: If there is a goal differential over 7 goals, RUN TIME is applied in the 3rd period. If it falls back to within 5 goals, it reverts back to stop time.
7. Drop Clock: If there is more than 2 minutes left on the scoreclock with 5 minutes remaining on the ice slot, the clock will be dropped to 2 minutes.
